Topic starter   [#42388]

Started Naprosyn (naproxen) eight months ago for pain and I am trying to work out whether what I am feeling now is tolerance or something else.

My skin, my sleep and my mood all respond to this, and my appointments only ever ask about the third.

Withdrawal symptoms are not the same as side effects, and conflating them wasted a year of my life.

Interested mainly in what people wish they had known at the start.

Everyone here blames the drug. Half the time it is the appointment schedule, not the molecule.

Sleep first. Bad night, bad day, more symptoms. Fix that before changing anything else.

It gets smaller. Not easy, smaller. That distinction kept me going.
