Canada Post has held my parcel for 18 days with no scan. Is that normal for this route or should I start the process?

The address matters more than the contents after a while, and nobody warns you about that.

What changed my experience was splitting orders rather than ordering larger and less often.

Any experience with the equivalent in another country would help.

File early. The window is shorter than people think and it starts at the transaction.

Written confirmation email after every phone call. Cheapest insurance there is. How long have you been on USPS?

Do you contact the customs office or the carrier first? Six weeks in on USPS and it lines up.
