Topic starter   [#35717]

Splitting an order and the a fortnight of a routine that finally stuck.

The first two weeks are the hard part, after that it is automatic.

Worth trying before something more complicated.

Following this because I am in the same place and have no idea what to ask at the appointment.

I would stop trying to convey how bad it is and start saying what you want them to do.

Ten percent cuts, of the current dose not the original. That is the arithmetic that keeps it survivable. How long have you been on splitting an order?

Ask for the longer appointment slot. Ten minutes is not enough for a complex history and pretending otherwise wastes both your time.

Bring a list. Embarrassment makes everyone forget things, including you.

My pharmacist has become my actual doctor and I am at peace with it.
