Got a letter from the customs office about a parcel from Japan. Reading it carefully before I do anything.
The reference number on the letter is the only way anyone will find the file again, so it goes in the subject line of everything.
What I have learned is that the 16 day mark is the point to start the process, not the point to panic.
The virtual card route gives you recourse and the transfer route gives you a lower price. Pick which you actually want.
