Got a letter from the customs office about a parcel from Poland. Reading it carefully before I do anything. Declarations that contradict the return address are the ones that get opened.

Fees like that are charged by the carrier, not the state, which is why they are hard to contest. Tolerance was my main issue with South Africa too.

The sticker on the box is just so you know they were in there. It is the letter that matters.
