Comparing two orders, one from Germany and one domestic. The difference in handling is the interesting part, not the price.

Australia Post scans are generated at the hub, so a silent tracking page is not evidence of a problem for the first 20 days.

Filing the paperwork early is worth more than arguing later about whose fault it was.

Reading the statute rather than the summary changes the tone of everything you send back.

How long would you wait before starting the process?

File early. Currently on a fee on the statement myself.

How do I find the national register if I do not read the language?

The sticker on the box is just so you know they were in there. It is the letter that matters.

Fees like that are charged by the carrier, not the state, which is why they are hard to contest. How long have you been on a fee on the statement?

The address matters more than the contents eventually. Changing what you order when the address is flagged changes nothing. Tolerance was my main issue with a fee on the statement too.
