Question for the people who have taken oxycodone long term: did the constipation ever settle, or is that just the price of admission?

The generic switch was the only change and it was noticeable for about three weeks.

I have tried three of the alternatives and constipation was the problem with two of them.

Constipation is the side effect that gets ignored until it becomes the main problem, and it is entirely manageable if you start early.

Any suggestions welcome, especially the boring practical ones.
