Question for the people who have taken chloramphenicol ear drops long term: did the tolerance ever settle, or is that just the price of admission?
The rebound is worse than the original problem for about a fortnight and then it eases.
Cutting by ten percent of the current dose rather than the original is the arithmetic that keeps it survivable.
Posting partly so that the next person searching finds an answer sooner.

Sorry for the basic question, but how do you actually start one of these diaries?
You have two changes at once here. You cannot attribute anything until one of them moves. Tolerance was my main issue with chloramphenicol ear drops too.
Worth asking what specifically was measured. Pain scores move with mood and function does not.
Same here.
