Started Seroquel (quetiapine) three weeks ago for pain and I am trying to work out whether what I am feeling now is tolerance or something else.
The dose has stayed the same for three weeks and the effect has not, which is the whole puzzle.
The leaflet lists the side effects as common and then says nothing useful about how long it lasts.
Reference ranges shift between labs, so comparing results across two different labs is close to meaningless.
Genuinely open to being told my reasoning is wrong here.
Interdose restlessness is distinct from the original symptom and worth naming separately.
Same here.
Same for me with quetiapine, unfortunately.
Following this because I am in the same place and have no idea what to ask at the appointment. Three weeks in on quetiapine and it lines up.

Everyone here blames the drug. Half the time it is the appointment schedule, not the molecule. Side effects was my main issue with quetiapine too.
The last ten percent of a taper takes as long as the first ninety. Nobody says so until you are in it.
How do you tell the difference between the drug working and just a good week?
Enteric coatings should not be crushed. The pellets are the delivery mechanism.
Worth asking what specifically was measured. Pain scores move with mood and function does not. How long have you been on quetiapine?
