Small thing that made a difference for me with a second opinion.

Write it down on paper, in the room, not in an app you will not open.

Do it before the appointment, not during it.

Anyone got something better?

How do you tell the difference between the drug working and just a good week?

Following this because I am in the same place and have no idea what to ask at the appointment.

Half of what people describe as tolerance is a change in the underlying condition, and the two need different answers.

Small wins count. Walking to the mailbox is a data point.

It gets smaller. Not easy, smaller. That distinction kept me going. Three years in on a second opinion and it lines up.

Changing prescriber does not reset anything, and people discover that the hard way.

Is it normal to feel worse before better? Nobody told me that.
