Not glamorous, but storage at home is the change that helped most.
The first two weeks are the hard part, after that it is automatic.
Do it before the appointment, not during it.
Worth trying before something more complicated.

Personal experience, labelled as such, is exactly right here. Nobody is prescribing. Tolerance was my main issue with storage at home too.
