Got a letter from the customs office about a parcel from Romania. Reading it carefully before I do anything.
Photograph everything before you open it. It takes ten seconds and settles most disputes.
The reference number on the letter is the only way anyone will find the file again, so it goes in the subject line of everything.

The published rule and the enforcement pattern are different documents. Only one of them affects you. Currently on Poland myself.

The sticker on the box is just so you know they were in there. It is the letter that matters. Same for me with Poland, unfortunately.
