Got a letter from the customs office about a parcel from the Netherlands. Reading it carefully before I do anything.
What changed my experience was splitting orders rather than ordering larger and less often.
Declarations that contradict the return address are the ones that get opened.
Anyone know the actual process rather than the folklore?
Do you contact the customs office or the carrier first? Not on Greece but the pattern is familiar.
Same here.
Photograph everything. Tolerance was my main issue with Greece too.
Reminder that a tracking number is not required in the post, but the dates and the carrier are.
Photograph everything before you open it. Ten seconds, settles most disputes.
Photograph everything. How long have you been on Greece?
What do you do about the fee? Do you just pay it?
