DHL has held my parcel for 39 days with no scan. Is that normal for this route or should I start the process?

A card that works domestically can fail on an international merchant for dull, uninteresting, entirely legitimate reasons.

A written confirmation email after every phone call is the cheapest insurance there is.

Has the handling changed recently for anyone else?

What do you do about the fee? Do you just pay it?

Photograph everything before you open it. Ten seconds, settles most disputes.

The published rule and the enforcement pattern are different documents. Only one of them affects you.

Fees like that are charged by the carrier, not the state, which is why they are hard to contest.

Customs outcomes are not rulings. A parcel passing is not legal advice. Two months in on the United States and it lines up.

How do I find the national register if I do not read the language?

Everyone is an expert until the first seizure letter.
