Long post, sorry. Melatonin: what actually has human evidence behind it, and what is extrapolation from animals?
If you need three other compounds to notice the first one, you have not tested the first one.
Mechanism is not outcome, and a plausible pathway is the most expensive kind of evidence there is.
My rule now: if a claim cannot survive being written down with the numbers attached, it is marketing.
Would like a narrow answer rather than an enthusiastic one.
Cold storage, light protection, date on the vial. Boring, removes half the variables.
Nobody has ever been talked out of a stack by a stranger on the internet.

Baseline first. Without a baseline the after picture is decoration.
Test one thing at a time. It feels slower and it is the only way to learn anything.
Loose evidence is not nothing, but a washout either side is the only reason to trust your own take.

Same here.
Sterility is the part people wave through and it is the part that actually bites. Side effects was my main issue with melatonin too.
Narrow conclusion.
Loose evidence and no evidence are different, and people overcorrect in both directions.
Sleep, food, or the compound? Yes.
Stupid question: how do you know whether what is in the vial matches the label at all?
