Topic starter   [#12304]

Zinc picolinate and the reconstitution argument. Half the threads on this are arguing past each other about arithmetic.

Sample size, blinding, and who paid for it. Those three questions kill most of the confidence in most of these threads.

Mechanism is not outcome, and a plausible pathway is the most expensive kind of evidence there is.

Elemental versus compound weight is the trap on every one of these labels.

Happy to be corrected on any of the above.

Stupid question: how do you know whether what is in the vial matches the label at all? How long have you been on zinc picolinate?

Test one thing at a time. It feels slower and it is the only way to learn anything.

A certificate of analysis answers one question and gets quoted as though it answers four.

Name the active ingredient, not just the brand. It makes these threads searchable years later. Currently on zinc picolinate myself.

I would take the narrow conclusion. Broad ones are more interesting and less true.

Where does the human data stop and the extrapolation begin? That is the whole thread.
