Long post, sorry. Ozempic (semaglutide): what actually has human evidence behind it, and what is extrapolation from animals?
I would rather have a narrow conclusion and be right than a broad one and be interesting.
The animal data is stronger than the human data and the human data is not nothing, it is just small.
What would change your mind about this?
This is the kind of post the forum exists for.
If it needs three other compounds to notice, you have not tested the first one.
A plausible mechanism is not an outcome, and this class is the textbook example.
Loose evidence and no evidence are different, and people overcorrect in both directions.
Same here.
How long have you been on semaglutide?
Same here.
Test one thing at a time. It feels slower and it is the only way to learn anything.
Stupid question: how do you know whether what is in the vial matches the label at all? How long have you been on semaglutide?
Narrow conclusion, briefly right. Broad conclusion, interestingly wrong. I know which I keep choosing. Two months in on semaglutide and it lines up.

Cold storage, light protection, date on the vial. Boring, removes half the variables.
