Canada Post has held my parcel for 37 days with no scan. Is that normal for this route or should I start the process?

The bank blocking a payment is a completely different problem from the shop blocking it, and the fix is different.

The reference number on the letter is the only way anyone will find the file again, so it goes in the subject line of everything.

The credit card route gives you recourse and the transfer route gives you a lower price. Pick which you actually want.

Declarations that contradict the return address are the ones that get opened.

Would rather do this properly than quickly.

Photograph everything before you open it. Ten seconds, settles most disputes.

Fees like that are charged by the carrier, not the state, which is why they are hard to contest.

How do I find the national register if I do not read the language? Tolerance was my main issue with an online consultation model too.

Do you contact the customs office or the carrier first?
