Long post, sorry. Semax: what actually has human evidence behind it, and what is extrapolation from animals?
Vivid dreams and mild headache for the first 11 days, then nothing. Textbook for this class, apparently.
What the peptide class does pharmacologically does not require the subjective effect to be large to be real.
Animal data is much of what exists here and the human stuff is thin and small.
What is the strongest human evidence anyone here has actually read, not skimmed?
Three questions kill most of the confidence in a thread like this: sample size, blinding, who paid.
Same here.
Same for me with semax, unfortunately.
I would take the narrow conclusion. Broad ones are more interesting and less true.
Is a baseline blood test really necessary before starting something like this?
Read methods.
Test one thing at a time. It feels slower and it is the only way to learn anything.
What is the first thing you would read if you were starting from zero?
Test one thing at a time. It feels slower and it is the only way to learn anything. Four months in on semax and it lines up.
