Long post, sorry. Selank: what actually has human evidence behind it, and what is extrapolation from animals?
Vivid dreams and mild headache for the first 3 days, then nothing. Textbook for this class, apparently.
The animal data is stronger than the human data and the human data is not nothing, it is just small.
The effect size I actually noticed is roughly a third of what the write-ups imply, and it took four months to be sure.
Animal data is much of what exists here and the human stuff is thin and small.
What would change your mind about this?
This board overrates bloodwork. A number moving is not the outcome you wanted.
How long before you can reasonably say something is or is not doing anything?
Is a baseline blood test really necessary before starting something like this? Same for me with selank, unfortunately.
What is the first thing you would read if you were starting from zero? Currently on selank myself.
Sleep, food, or the compound? Yes.
