Long post, sorry. Sulbutiamine: what actually has human evidence behind it, and what is extrapolation from animals?

Two weeks is not enough time to attribute anything to a compound unless the effect is dramatic.

Forum consensus and published consensus diverged here about five years ago and never reconverged.

What would change your mind about this?

Test one thing at a time. It feels slower and it is the only way to learn anything. How long have you been on sulbutiamine?

Where does the human data stop and the extrapolation begin? That is the whole thread. Not on sulbutiamine but the pattern is familiar.

Baseline first. Without a baseline the after picture is decoration.

A plausible mechanism is not an outcome, and this class is the textbook example.

Loose evidence and no evidence are different, and people overcorrect in both directions.

Read the methods section. It is the only part that says whether the conclusion is allowed to exist.
