Question for the people who have taken hydrocodone long term: did the constipation ever settle, or is that just the price of admission?
The rebound is worse than the original problem for about a fortnight and then it eases.
Pharmacist, not doctor, is where the useful advice has come from every single time.
Constipation is the side effect that gets ignored until it becomes the main problem, and it is entirely manageable if you start early.
Mostly wanting to compare notes rather than be told what to do.
