Question for the people who have taken kratom long term: did the mild sedation ever settle, or is that just the price of admission?
Cold and heat sensitivity turned out to be part of it and is barely mentioned anywhere.
The rebound is worse than the original problem for about a fortnight and then it eases.
I have tried three of the alternatives and mild sedation was the problem with two of them.
Not looking for a protocol, just perspective.
Is it normal to feel worse before better? Nobody told me that.
Following this because I am in the same place and have no idea what to ask at the appointment.
Worth asking what specifically was measured. Pain scores move with mood and function does not.
You have two changes at once here. You cannot attribute anything until one of them moves.
Changing prescriber does not reset anything, and people discover that the hard way.
Access to mugs should be on the clinical questionnaire.
Ten percent cuts. Slower is faster.
Sorry for the basic question, but how do you actually start one of these diaries?
Small wins count. Walking to the mailbox is a data point.
Sorry for the basic question, but how do you actually start one of these diaries? Four months in on kratom and it lines up.
Fifteen years of this and the function column is the only one that changed anything for me. Also, one page of history, printed, handed over at the start. It changes the appointment.
How do you tell the difference between the drug working and just a good week?
Ask for the longer appointment slot. Ten minutes is not enough for a complex history and pretending otherwise wastes both your time.
Sorry for the basic question, but how do you actually start one of these diaries? Not on kratom but the pattern is familiar.
