My doctor moved me from one NSAID to Mobic (meloxicam) and the first three weeks were rough in a way nobody prepared me for. Reference ranges shift between labs, so comparing results across two different labs is close to meaningless.

You are not imagining it and you are not being difficult. Document it and take the document in.

Ten percent cuts, of the current dose not the original. That is the arithmetic that keeps it survivable.

Small wins count. Walking to the mailbox is a data point.

It gets smaller. Not easy, smaller. That distinction kept me going.

Ten percent cuts. Slower is faster. Not on meloxicam but the pattern is familiar.

My pharmacist has become my actual doctor and I am at peace with it.

The pain score conversation is thirty seconds of my life I will never get back, every time. Eight months in on meloxicam and it lines up.

Is it normal to feel worse before better? Nobody told me that. Currently on meloxicam myself.

Access to mugs should be on the clinical questionnaire.

Same here.
