Question for the people who have taken codeine long term: did the sweating ever settle, or is that just the price of admission? Timing matters more than I expected. Taking it at the same hour every day made the sweating less random. Some days are fine and some are not and there is no pattern I can find, which makes it hard to plan anything. The difference between immediate and modified release is bigger than the leaflet makes it sound. Interested mainly in what people wish they had known at the start.

I would stop trying to convey how bad it is and start saying what you want them to do. Same for me with codeine, unfortunately.
