Three month limits are cumulative across parcels in more places than people realise.

Fees like that are charged by the carrier, not the state, which is why they are hard to contest.

File early. Tolerance was my main issue with a query about driving and medication too.

What do you do about the fee? Do you just pay it?

The sticker on the box is just so you know they were in there. It is the letter that matters. How long have you been on a query about driving and medication?

Do you contact the customs office or the carrier first?

Customs outcomes are not rulings. A parcel passing is not legal advice.

“Dispatched” means the label was printed. That is the entire meaning of the word.
