Refund question. Order was short by one item and the shop wants a photo before doing anything.

Small, light and boring passes. Large, branded and interesting gets examined.

An Post scans are generated at the hub, so a silent tracking page is not evidence of a problem for the first 18 days.

The address matters more than the contents after a while, and nobody warns you about that.

Happy to hear I am overthinking it.

The published rule and the enforcement pattern are different documents. Only one of them affects you.

Do you contact the customs office or the carrier first?

“Registered with” is doing an enormous amount of work in that sentence.

Photograph everything. How long have you been on UPS?

Three month limits are cumulative across parcels in more places than people realise. Tolerance was my main issue with UPS too.

How do I find the national register if I do not read the language?

What do you do about the fee? Do you just pay it?

Photograph everything before you open it. Ten seconds, settles most disputes.
