Comparing two orders, one from Canada and one domestic. The difference in handling is the interesting part, not the price.

The returns address and the contact address are often different and only one of them is a real building.

Photograph everything before you open it. It takes ten seconds and settles most disputes.

Interested in the boring correct answer.

Split orders. Two small parcels beat one large one for reasons that have nothing to do with price.

Written confirmation email after every phone call. Cheapest insurance there is.

Three month limits are cumulative across parcels in more places than people realise. Currently on Royal Mail myself.
