PostNL has held my parcel for 20 days with no scan. Is that normal for this route or should I start the process?

The address matters more than the contents after a while, and nobody warns you about that.

The prepaid card route gives you recourse and the transfer route gives you a lower price. Pick which you actually want.

Mostly posting so the next person has something to search.

Customs outcomes are not rulings. A parcel passing is not legal advice.

Written confirmation email after every phone call. Cheapest insurance there is.

Fees like that are charged by the carrier, not the state, which is why they are hard to contest. Currently on An Post myself.

Do you contact the customs office or the carrier first?

What do you do about the fee? Do you just pay it?

Everyone is an expert until the first seizure letter.
