Got a letter from the customs office about a parcel from Poland. Reading it carefully before I do anything.

A written confirmation email after every phone call is the cheapest insurance there is.

Declarations that contradict the return address are the ones that get opened.

Happy to hear I am overthinking it.

The declaration contradicting the return address is what gets it opened. Currently on An Post myself.

Do you contact the customs office or the carrier first?

“Dispatched” means the label was printed. That is the entire meaning of the word.

Domain age is one of the few signals that is expensive to fake and free to check. Not on An Post but the pattern is familiar.

Everyone is an expert until the first seizure letter. A fortnight in on An Post and it lines up.
