Question for the people who have taken phenoxymethylpenicillin long term: did the stomach upset ever settle, or is that just the price of admission?

I have tried three of the alternatives and sun sensitivity was the problem with two of them.

What helped was writing down what I could physically do that day rather than a pain score. Numbers lie, function does not.

Sun sensitivity is a real effect for several of these and is skipped as a footnote.

Any suggestions welcome, especially the boring practical ones.

Ten percent cuts. Slower is faster.

You are not imagining it and you are not being difficult. Document it and take the document in. Not on phenoxymethylpenicillin but the pattern is familiar.

Careful with attribution. You changed the timing, the dose and the season. That is three variables. Not on phenoxymethylpenicillin but the pattern is familiar.

Is it normal to feel worse before better? Nobody told me that.

Ten percent cuts, of the current dose not the original. That is the arithmetic that keeps it survivable. How long have you been on phenoxymethylpenicillin?

Everyone here blames the drug. Half the time it is the appointment schedule, not the molecule. Same for me with phenoxymethylpenicillin, unfortunately.

Small wins count. Walking to the mailbox is a data point.

Sorry for the basic question, but how do you actually start one of these diaries? Stomach upset was my main issue with phenoxymethylpenicillin too.
