I have been on metronidazole for a year and the thing nobody warned me about is the diarrhoea.
I asked for the refusal to be noted in the record and got what I asked for within a week.
The rebound is worse than the original problem for about a fortnight and then it eases.
Any suggestions welcome, especially the boring practical ones.

Reference ranges differ between labs, so comparing two reports is close to meaningless.

Is it normal to feel worse before better? Nobody told me that. Diarrhoea was my main issue with metronidazole too.

Enteric coatings should not be crushed. The pellets are the delivery mechanism.
