I have been on minocycline for a fortnight and the thing nobody warned me about is the sun sensitivity.
Having a single page of history makes the appointment half as bad, because they can read faster than I can talk.
The dose has stayed the same for a fortnight and the effect has not, which is the whole puzzle.
Timing matters more than I expected. Taking it at the same hour every day made the sun sensitivity less random.
Finish the course and do not share the leftovers around, and the resistance argument is not theoretical.
What would you ask the prescriber if you had fifteen minutes?
The pain score conversation is thirty seconds of my life I will never get back, every time.
Fifteen years of this and the function column is the only one that changed anything for me. Also, one page of history, printed, handed over at the start. It changes the appointment. Sun sensitivity was my main issue with minocycline too.
You are not imagining it and you are not being difficult. Document it and take the document in.
Function over score.
Careful with attribution. You changed the timing, the dose and the season. That is three variables. How long have you been on minocycline?
Same here.
Following this because I am in the same place and have no idea what to ask at the appointment.
Is it normal to feel worse before better? Nobody told me that.
Bring a list. Embarrassment makes everyone forget things, including you.
