Correos has held my parcel for 16 days with no scan. Is that normal for this route or should I start the process?

Correos scans are generated at the hub, so a silent tracking page is not evidence of a problem for the first 16 days.

The returns address and the contact address are often different and only one of them is a real building.

Happy to hear I am overthinking it.

The sticker on the box is just so you know they were in there. It is the letter that matters.

Domain age is one of the few signals that is expensive to fake and free to check.

Three month limits are cumulative across parcels in more places than people realise.

Photograph everything before you open it. Ten seconds, settles most disputes.

Everyone is an expert until the first seizure letter.

Fees like that are charged by the carrier, not the state, which is why they are hard to contest. Currently on a virtual card myself.

File early. The window is shorter than people think and it starts at the transaction.

“Registered with” is doing an enormous amount of work in that sentence. Currently on a virtual card myself.

Do you contact the customs office or the carrier first? Not on a virtual card but the pattern is familiar.

Be careful reading one parcel as a rule. Two successes build a false model.

The address matters more than the contents eventually. Changing what you order when the address is flagged changes nothing.
