I have been running L-tyrosine for six weeks and the honest summary is that the effect is smaller than the internet suggests and real.
If you need three other compounds to notice the first one, you have not tested the first one.
Sample size, blinding, and who paid for it. Those three questions kill most of the confidence in most of these threads.
The comparison group matters more than the compound when the outcome is something as fuzzy as focus.
There is a serious question about whether the studied form matches what is sold, and nobody in a thread can answer it.
Happy to be corrected on any of the above.
Underdosing and tolerance are indistinguishable from the inside, and everyone picks the flattering explanation.
Stupid question: how do you know whether what is in the vial matches the label at all?
Cold storage, light protection, date on the vial. Boring, removes half the variables. Side effects was my main issue with L-tyrosine too.
How long before you can reasonably say something is or is not doing anything? Not on L-tyrosine but the pattern is familiar.
How long before you can reasonably say something is or is not doing anything?
How long before you can reasonably say something is or is not doing anything?
Loose evidence and no evidence are different, and people overcorrect in both directions.
