Trying to separate three different claims about armodafinil: that it is the right molecule, that it is the right dose, and that it does something useful.
There is a serious question about whether the studied form matches what is sold, and nobody in a thread can answer it.
Mechanism is not outcome, and a plausible pathway is the most expensive kind of evidence there is.
Forum consensus and published consensus diverged here about five years ago and never reconverged.
What would change your mind about this?
Test one thing at a time. It feels slower and it is the only way to learn anything.
Same here.
Baseline first.
An inconclusive account is useful if it stops the next person mistaking a story for a controlled comparison. Not on armodafinil but the pattern is familiar.
Sterility is the part people wave through and it is the part that actually bites.
Most of what is called evidence here is one person, one vial, one month.
Stupid question: how do you know whether what is in the vial matches the label at all?
Sleep, food, or the compound? Yes. Currently on armodafinil myself.
What is the first thing you would read if you were starting from zero?
My rule, after years of this: if it cannot survive being written down with the numbers attached, it is marketing.
Baseline first.
Is a baseline blood test really necessary before starting something like this? Jaw tension was my main issue with armodafinil too.
Same here.
