I have been running oxiracetam for four months and the honest summary is that the effect is smaller than the internet suggests and real.
The effect size I actually noticed is roughly a third of what the write-ups imply, and it took four months to be sure.
Mechanism is not outcome, and a plausible pathway is the most expensive kind of evidence there is.
There is a serious question about whether the studied form matches what is sold, and nobody in a thread can answer it.
Baseline first. Without a baseline the after picture is decoration.
Vivid dreams are reported widely and are not in the label because there is not really a label.
Posting to be argued with, mainly.
What is the first thing you would read if you were starting from zero? Headaches was my main issue with oxiracetam too.
Nobody has ever been talked out of a stack by a stranger on the internet.

Baseline first.
Three questions kill most of the confidence in a thread like this: sample size, blinding, who paid. Four months in on oxiracetam and it lines up.

Narrow conclusion, briefly right. Broad conclusion, interestingly wrong. I know which I keep choosing.

Underdosing and tolerance are indistinguishable from the inside, and everyone picks the flattering explanation.
Test one thing at a time. It feels slower and it is the only way to learn anything. Currently on oxiracetam myself.
