Everyone here blames the drug. Half the time it is the appointment schedule, not the molecule. How long have you been on tapentadol?

Ask for the longer appointment slot. Ten minutes is not enough for a complex history and pretending otherwise wastes both your time.

I would stop trying to convey how bad it is and start saying what you want them to do.

The pain score conversation is thirty seconds of my life I will never get back, every time.

Following this because I am in the same place and have no idea what to ask at the appointment.

Sorry for the basic question, but how do you actually start one of these diaries? Currently on tapentadol myself.

You have two changes at once here. You cannot attribute anything until one of them moves. Currently on tapentadol myself.

It gets smaller. Not easy, smaller. That distinction kept me going.

Worth asking what specifically was measured. Pain scores move with mood and function does not.

Function over score.

Is it normal to feel worse before better? Nobody told me that.

The last ten percent of a taper takes as long as the first ninety. Nobody says so until you are in it.
