Got a letter from the customs office about a parcel from Romania. Reading it carefully before I do anything.
The three month rule is cumulative across parcels in more places than people realise.
The reference number on the letter is the only way anyone will find the file again, so it goes in the subject line of everything.
Customs handling fees are charged by the carrier, not the state, which is why they are so hard to contest.
Anyone had this route work recently, or is it closed for now?
Do you contact the customs office or the carrier first?
What do you do about the fee? Do you just pay it?
“Registered with” is doing an enormous amount of work in that sentence.
Split orders. Two small parcels beat one large one for reasons that have nothing to do with price.
How do I find the national register if I do not read the language?

Customs outcomes are not rulings. A parcel passing is not legal advice. Currently on a tracking gap myself.
Same here.

Check the register yourself rather than trusting the number printed on the site. Tolerance was my main issue with a tracking gap too.
