Question for the people who have taken diazepam long term: did the flat mood ever settle, or is that just the price of admission?
How do you tell the difference between the drug working and just a good week?
Bring a list. Embarrassment makes everyone forget things, including you.
Access to mugs should be on the clinical questionnaire. Not on diazepam but the pattern is familiar.
Is it normal to feel worse before better? Nobody told me that. Currently on diazepam myself.
Sorry for the basic question, but how do you actually start one of these diaries?
Interdose restlessness is distinct from the original symptom and worth naming separately.
Ask for the longer appointment slot. Ten minutes is not enough for a complex history and pretending otherwise wastes both your time. Flat mood was my main issue with diazepam too.
You are not imagining it and you are not being difficult. Document it and take the document in.

Half of what people describe as tolerance is a change in the underlying condition, and the two need different answers.
Careful with attribution. You changed the timing, the dose and the season. That is three variables.
Following this because I am in the same place and have no idea what to ask at the appointment. Same for me with diazepam, unfortunately.
The pain score conversation is thirty seconds of my life I will never get back, every time.
