How do you tell the difference between the drug working and just a good week?

Ten percent cuts, of the current dose not the original. That is the arithmetic that keeps it survivable. Emotional blunting was my main issue with sertraline too.

Following this because I am in the same place and have no idea what to ask at the appointment. Emotional blunting was my main issue with sertraline too.

Is it normal to feel worse before better? Nobody told me that.

You have two changes at once here. You cannot attribute anything until one of them moves.

Sorry for the basic question, but how do you actually start one of these diaries?

The pain score conversation is thirty seconds of my life I will never get back, every time. Three weeks in on sertraline and it lines up.

Ten percent cuts. Slower is faster.

Changing prescriber does not reset anything, and people discover that the hard way.

Worth asking what specifically was measured. Pain scores move with mood and function does not.

It gets smaller. Not easy, smaller. That distinction kept me going.

Half of what people describe as tolerance is a change in the underlying condition, and the two need different answers.

Function over score.
