Seroxat (paroxetine) helps, and it also does something to my sleep that the leaflet describes in one evasive sentence.
My doctor wants to separate tolerance from a genuine change in the underlying problem, which sounds sensible until you try to describe the difference in a ten minute appointment.
Timing matters more than I expected. Taking it at the same hour every day made the sweating less random.

Is it normal to feel worse before better? Nobody told me that.

Everyone here blames the drug. Half the time it is the appointment schedule, not the molecule.
How do you tell the difference between the drug working and just a good week?
