Started Buspar (buspirone) two months ago for pain and I am trying to work out whether what I am feeling now is tolerance or something else.
Sleep is the variable that moves everything else. Bad night, worse day, more tolerance.
I have tried three of the alternatives and tolerance was the problem with two of them.
What worked for you, and how long did it take before it worked?
Is it normal to feel worse before better? Nobody told me that.
Everyone here blames the drug. Half the time it is the appointment schedule, not the molecule. Two months in on buspirone and it lines up.

Small wins count. Walking to the mailbox is a data point. How long have you been on buspirone?
Sorry for the basic question, but how do you actually start one of these diaries? Same for me with buspirone, unfortunately.
Careful with attribution. You changed the timing, the dose and the season. That is three variables.
You are not imagining it and you are not being difficult. Document it and take the document in.
Personal experience, labelled as such, is exactly right here. Nobody is prescribing.
Enteric coatings should not be crushed. The pellets are the delivery mechanism.
Bring a list. Embarrassment makes everyone forget things, including you.
Following this because I am in the same place and have no idea what to ask at the appointment.
Same here.
Ten percent cuts, of the current dose not the original. That is the arithmetic that keeps it survivable.
Interdose restlessness is distinct from the original symptom and worth naming separately.
